Metalife renames itself RF Materials to unify image with RFHIC
Metalife announced on the 16th that it will change its name to “RF Materials” to unify its corporate image with its parent, RFHIC.
A Metalife official said the change is meant to fuse RFHIC's GaN-semiconductor-based application technology, Metalife's materials technology and B&C Tech's system-design and manufacturing technology, targeting core RF modules and microwave transmission markets such as 5G, radar, satellite communications and RF energy (accelerator, plasma, heating).
Its subsidiary B&C Tech will also rename itself RF Systems, completing the image integration, subject to approval at the general meeting on the 24th.
