[IPO] B&C Tech raises KRW 3 billion from Korea Investment Partners
B&C Tech, a system-design and special-joining company, said on the 25th that it received KRW 3 billion from Korea Investment Partners, Korea's largest venture capital firm. Its controlling shareholder RFHIC invested KRW 500 million and Metalife KRW 1.5 billion, for a total of KRW 5 billion.
The funding came three months after the company signed NH Investment & Securities as lead manager for a KOSDAQ listing, laying the foundation for external growth. Korea Investment Partners said B&C Tech has built a track record in defense on antenna-joining process design and large-radar mechanical design, and gained RF design capability after the RFHIC and Metalife acquisitions — an important step toward overseas expansion.
B&C Tech expects sales of KRW 30 billion this year and targets a KOSDAQ listing at the end of 2022.
